Young Asians Accelerator Summit 2026 · Service Learning

Keepsake workshops where migrant workers record video messages for their families, run by a team of 7 across 6 schools. Two sessions delivered: 7 workers reached, all 7 videos delivered. Consent ran in Tamil and Bengali, with a 48-hour cool-off before anything could be shared. Access to the community was introduced through It's Raining Raincoats, a charity supporting migrant workers in Singapore; the full method is written up on the project site.

LeadSGP · After the Shift

I founded LeadSGP in 2025 as a student-run volunteering network; it grew to 41 members. Its main programme, After the Shift, is a community sports day with migrant workers at the Terusan Residents' Committee grounds: Run 1 in March 2026 drew around 50 participants, and Run 2 followed in June. Along the way we made contact with 33 organisations, including a digital-literacy pilot agreed in principle with NTUC Health, a community health and eldercare provider. I'm now handing the network over to focus on Project Hope.

WeServeTogether

MOE Pre-University Seminar 2026 · Overall Team Leader

A team tackling the gap between volunteering intent and action in Singapore, started at the Ministry of Education's Pre-University Seminar. I co-led Group 20 and demoed a live prototype at the NUS showcase. A booth conversation with the co-founder of Impart, a Singapore youth charity, turned into a meeting at their office; we took the pivot advice, rebuilt the plan, and relaunched the team with fixed, named roles. The project kept going after the seminar ended.

Project Hope · Nova Fiesta

Head of Organisation (Organisation IC), Project Hope student committee · Make-A-Wish Singapore

Project Hope is a student committee that fundraises for Make-A-Wish Singapore; I'm Head of Organisation for 2026/27. Its main event is Nova Fiesta, a carnival on 16 January 2027 at *SCAPE, a youth events venue in central Singapore. I drafted the festival's full planning pack over one weekend: run sheet, budget with break-even scenarios, vendor tracker with a halal audit, venue brief and raffle spec. I also built the ticketing site in-house, so the carnival keeps 100% of what it raises.

Project Elaris · Age Well With Craft

School service project with Ren Ci nursing home, Ang Mo Kio

Craft workshops pairing junior college volunteers with seniors in long-term care, funded by a Youth For Causes grant. When the first partner fell through with zero sessions run, we rebuilt the programme with Ren Ci in under three weeks of calls and emails. The sessions are designed around the residents: 1 volunteer to 2 residents, visual demonstrations, and photos of hands and crafts only.

Novaris

Cross-border youth writing platform

A platform for teenagers in India and Nepal to co-write and publish with editor oversight. There is a working prototype and an agreement negotiated with an Indian youth organisation. The June mentoring fellowship was wound down when the timeline proved too tight; the platform continues. Current goal: the first published co-written piece.

Advena · Migrant Brothers' Sports Day

SAJC × Migrant Workers' Centre

A sports day where students and migrant workers play on the same teams, with cricket as the centrepiece. I revived the dormant project, recruited a committee of 9, and wrote the 2027 plan: a vision targeting 150 to 200 workers, a partnerships map, and a retention plan that keeps the committee engaged until the event. I'm also coordinating SAJC's part in the Ministry of Manpower's International Migrants Day event this December.

Third place,
explained with a night-market dish

At the Singapore Futures Youth Competition, run by NUS's Lee Kuan Yew School of Public Policy, our team had to explain social cohesion in 2050. We pitched it with a pasar malam (night market) dish. Mac and cheese for how tightly society is interconnected. The stall for the places where neighbours actually meet. Bang bang sauce for the layer of shared understanding you only get here. And the bowl, because for all our differences we're in the same one.

We backed it with a LEGO stop-motion film contrasting a dark “Me-First 2050” with a bright “We-First 2050”, and I built a working concept website for the proposal overnight, mid-competition. “Common Ground”, a plan to revitalise public spaces for the elderly in older public-housing (HDB) estates, took 3rd place in a competition that drew around 400 applicants.

Almost everyone on the team was younger than me, we disagreed constantly, and we still found common ground.

Amendly · the one that didn't ship

An AI conflict-repair app: upload a screenshot of an argument, get three suggested repair drafts, with a safety system that detects crisis situations and shows support resources, and a design guarantee that conversation content never reaches analytics. Before any code was written, I listed around 160 app ideas and ran 75 research checks trying to disprove them; Amendly was the idea that held up. The launch bar was set in advance too: pass a validation week first. That week hasn't happened yet, so Amendly hasn't shipped.

About

I started LeadSGP in 2025 to see whether a student-run network could deliver real events with real partners. It could. The harder part came this year: handing the network over, moving a programme to a new partner when the first one collapsed, and closing a project down properly.

I also build the tools my teams use: the ticketing site for Nova Fiesta, the Same Sky project site, and a physics revision tool for my cohort.

Next: applying to read Economics or PPE at university. The programmes this year kept running into the same question: how do services actually reach the people who need them? That is the problem I want to work on.
